About Us
Munich's Water Polo Team
The Munich Tritons are the water polo division of FT Gern, one of Munich's established sports clubs. We're a fun, mixed team - men, women, and players of all age groups training and competing together.
Whether you're a complete beginner curious about the sport or a seasoned player looking for a competitive squad, there's a place for you with the Tritons. No experience needed - just bring motivation and we'll help you get started.
Beyond the pool, we're a real community. From lasertag and padel to team dinners, Eisbach swims in the English Garden, and spontaneous hangouts - the Tritons are as much about the friendships as the sport.

Common Questions
Do I need water polo experience to join?
No. We welcome both new players and experienced athletes. If you're willing to put in the effort and enjoy team sports, you're a good fit.
When and where is training?
We train on Saturdays from 8:30 to 10:00 am at the Anton-Fingerle Zentrum in Munich.
What should I bring to training?
Bring swimwear, goggles, and a water bottle. Caps and any additional equipment will be provided at training.
Is the team international / English-friendly?
Yes. Our team brings together players from different backgrounds. Communication at training and matches works in both English and German.
